The device (Samsung S6) rebooted and second time the UICC unlock button was pushed, it displayed that it was now unlocked for other carriers. Once the phone was active, I went to UICC and try to unlock, first time came up that UICC is lock to Sprint. ![]() This required me to temporary activated the phone on my in-laws account (actually swapping one of their devices out for this device for about 30 minutes total). They stated that sometimes the unlock does not relay to the device unless active. However, as I read on other websites, the device needed to be active on Sprint to receive the unlock code. Not one representative on Sprint community could figure it out, or the technicians they contacted. I question what would happen if the phone is factory reset, or if profile, prl information is reset.
